Church Planter/ Pastor
Joey Zorina is from North-East India (Aizawl, Mizoram), a 95 percent Christian state. He was ordained as a minister of the Gospel in 2006 in Assam, India. Joey received his training from Harvest Bible Training Center (2002), Tokyo Christian University (Chiba, Japan, 2008), City to City Asia Pacific (2015). Serge Discipler’s Training (2015). He has served in church plants on various roles and as assistant pastor in the last 14 years in Japan. He also writes monthly for Living Life ( A Journal of Spiritual Formation).
Yisel serves with her husband wholeheartedly. She graduated from Heritage Bible College & Seminary, Ontario, Canada with a degree in Christian education and has taught kindergarten for 12 years in Japan. Yisel loves to disciple the ladies and loves to write stories for children.
Aki Sugawara has served as worship leader in various Bay-Area churches. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, he spent much of his professional life working in Silicon Valley companies. He graduated from UC Berkeley and spent a year at Kyoto University.
Aki became a Christian while living in Kyoto for two years, and returned to Japan feeling the call to minister to his own people. His desire is to build up a vibrant, indigenous younger generations of Christians in Japan, who would use their musical talents for Christ.
Joshuatly Tee is from Malaysia, and currently working as a System Administrator at a major company in Tokyo. He grew up in a Chinese speaking church in Malaysia. He has served in a youth ministry prior to coming to Japan. He takes care of The Bridge Fellowship church’s accounts and other minute details. He loves to care for the church by serving behind the scenes in various capacities. He currently leads the Gospel Formation group.
Intern / Worship Leader
Kudzanai Shadreck Musarurwa is from Zimbabwe, and currently serving as a theological student intern from Tokyo Christian University. Kudzi is passionate about leading worship and serving in various capacities to aid the team.
Dr. Wayne Dawson is a scientist by profession. He is passionate about the compatibility of the Christian Faith and Science. He is also passionate about music and has been a church musician ever since he came to the faith. He currently serves in the worship team and at The Bridge Live in various capacities with the team.
Chieko Kaneyasu is from Kanagawa, Japan. She has two daughters whom she loves very much. She has a passion for serving behind the scenes with a caring heart. She also serves in the worship team sometimes, and does a lot to care for the team members sacrificially.

Emalda Diengdoh is from North-East India. She is currently a theological student intern from Tokyo Christian University. Emalda has a gift of singing and loves to worship. She occasionally sings in the worship team and participates at The Bridge Live, apart from serving in other roles at The Bridge Fellowship.

Ray Katsumi is a U.S citizen from Hawaii, originally from Hiroshima. He is a theological student intern from Tokyo Christian University. He currently serves with the team in translations and in various ministry of helps where needed.
