What to Expect

Half Moon Hall is in a residential neighborhood (direction here) and it’s a short walk from the station. Once inside, you’ll take off your shoes and walk down a flight of two stairs. The dress is very casual, and if you arrive a bit early there will be a chance to meet and chat with other church attendees.

The worship service usually begins ten minutes after the hour, starting with a couple of worship songs in a mix of both English and Japanese. A ~30 minute message follows that talks about how the gospel intersects with your life. After a brief time of offering, the service ends with a closing worship song.

Fellowship, Refreshments

We have snacks after service, so feel free to stick around and mingle with others. Sometimes we have a short discussion group after the service, and very frequently we break off for more fellowship outside of the building.
