Worship Gathering

We hold worship gatherings in a variety of rented live/concert venues (details here) and it’s a short walk from the station. Once inside, you’ll take off your shoes and walk down a flight of two stairs. The dress is very casual, and if you arrive a bit early there will be a chance to meet and chat with other church attendees.

Worship Gathering

The worship gathering is typically at 2pm near Shimokitazawa station (time/place here), starting with a couple of worship songs in a mix of both English and Japanese. A 35-minute message follows that talks about how the gospel intersects with your life.  After a brief time of offering, the worship gathering ends with a closing worship song. We are then sent off with prayers as a scattered church to live out the truths of the Gospel from Monday to Sunday.

Fellowship,  Gospel Formation Group

We have snacks after the worship gathering, so feel free to stick around and mingle with others. Sometimes we have a short sermon-based discussion group (Gospel Formation Group) after the worship gathering, and very frequently we break off for more fellowship outside of the building.
